Rayyah McCaul

Headshot Rayyah McCaul
Spotlight:

Trained at ALRA, Rayyah has toured Europe with companies such as The Vienna’s English Theatre (A Perfect Match) and the European Arts Company (Animal Farm). In the UK she has played venues such as The Leicester Haymarket (Mine) and West Yorkshire Playhouse (A Doll's House). Rayyah has always had a strong interest in physical theatre and her movement background secured her the role of the ethereal Indigo Fairy in the hugely successful Pinocchio, directed by Benji Reid of Breaking Cycles. Always up for a challenge, Rayyah most recently performed in site specific comedy, I Love Oldham, in a real charity shop, and involved spontaneous interactions with the passing townsfolk. Her screen credits include features in short film A Tragedy (Lady Macbeth) and TV comedy Life in Entertainment (Jasmin Poors). Excited at the prospect of playing the Queen of the Amazons, Rayyah has been jungle trekking through Hampstead Heath… and although many a prospective specimen found, her research into cannibalism stopped at eating widgety grubs.
